Beautiful Desperate Housewives star Teri Hatcher was recently…
At the Australian premiere of her new movie, Coraline, when an elderly gentleman walked up and proposed to her. She says, “I was mostly terrified. Apparently that happens a lot here but it has never happened to me.”
It took Paris Hilton less than a day to get over her breakup with hottie Doug Reinhardt. Last week, she and soccer star Cristiano Ronaldo hooked up at a Vancouver night club. A source says, “Cristiano and Paris were all over each other! His table needed every waitress in the building to service the large quantities of alcohol, and he spent an excess of twenty thousand dollars on champagne and drinks.” Ain’t love expensive? Er, grand?
Fans everywhere are lusting for more blood-lusting on the hit show True Blood. Speaking of vampires, I appeared on Geraldo At Large last Sunday night on the Fox Network talking about the amusing, entertaining and annoying antics of Speidi,
Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag; fortunately they are gone off the (gross) show I Am A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here! When I removed my earpiece and was leaving the set after the segment was done, there stood a double for Pratt waiting to go on. I said, “Oops, hope you aren’t Spencer Pratt, now that I’ve done a little ripping of your antics on the show.” Mr. Lookalike said, “I am stepping in for Spencer.” Gullible me, “I wished him luck.” Little did I know, and should have known, him from the cast of True Blood, but I have yet to see the show. It was Ryan Kwanten, the sex symbol of the show! His adorable Australian parents were enjoying our repartee, and mentioned their son’s wild sense of humor. Right matey!
Even big stars lose it! James Gandolfini was in the middle of doing his Broadway play last weekend when he started laughing uncontrollably. He told the crowd, “Hey guys, sorry, but we’re gonna have to start this over.”
Dr. Phil McGraw and his lovely wife Robin were present at the launch of Latin singing sensation Margo Reymundo’s much anticipated U.S. debut album, “My Heart’s Desire” (Organica Records) with a special live performance to an all-star audience at Herb Alpert’s Vibrato Grill. Dr. Phil loves Reymundo’s music so much that she performed on his show.
The party was hosted by Reymundo’s boyfriend, Comedy Central’s Ron White (very funny, but very raunchy). Hollywood and industry luminaries also attended, including actress Mary Kay Place, Grammy®-winning Latin John Paul DeJoria, radio star Tom Schnabel, and music industry mogul Michael Blakey.
Reymundo wowed the glittery crowd as she lit up the stage and performed songs from the album with her 12-piece all-star band, including her title song, “My Heart’s Desire.” Reymundo is slated to appear at this year’s Playboy Jazz Festival at the Hollywood Bowl, alongside Latin jazz legend, Oscar Hernandez, with whom she performs regularly at L.A. Live’s “The Conga Room.”
It was an evening of spectacular fine art, celebrities and society collectors, hosted by art connoisseur/consultant David Streets. The event was held at the Rebecca Molayem Gallery in West Hollywood. Besides the fabulous oils of San Franciscan Nancy Nankin, it was people watching at its best. Barbara Lazaroff, formerly Mrs. Wolfgang Puck and interior designer extraordinaire, was there, as were, ironically, three leading ladies who had starred with recently demised actor David Carradine, including Sybil Danning, Louisa Moritz and Elana Krausz. Nankin, a natural born artist, discovered her talents a scant six years ago but has emerged as a notable artist of the 21st Century.
Stripped Down by award-winning filmmaker Elana Krausz and Visualiner Entertainment had a star-studded red carpet VIP world premiere to support survivors of sexual abuse. This David Lynch-Luis Bunuel-like surrealistic roller coaster ride co-stars Krausz, who wrote and directed this disturbing thriller about the world of strip club abuse.
