Woodland Hills

Philharmonic Choir & Chorale
The San Fernando Valley Master Chorale, Terry Danne, conductor, presents the third offering of their 20th anniversary season with Carl Orff’s exciting “Carmina Burana” on Saturday, April 10th, at 8 P.M. at Pierce College’s Theater on the Hill, located at 6201 Winnetka Avenue, Woodland Hills. Joined by the Valley College Philharmonic Choir, Michael H. Arshagouni, conductor, in their second collaboration, this program also includes opera choruses and solo numbers. Guest soloists include Amber Peters and Edward Levy.
This performance bears special significance to the Chorale, as it was their inaugural concert in 1998 combining singers from 15 different choirs for the opening of the Los Angeles’ Madrid Theater. Under the direction of Terry Danne, former conductor with the City of L.A.’s Bureau of Music, the event was televised on Valley public access. The show was delayed due to the overwhelming audience response and was sold out.
As a special incentive, a question and answer period will be led by Dr. Arshagouni, and Mr. Donald Caldwell, SFVMC Assistant Conductor and former Music Director at Cal Tech in Pasadena.

Tickets are $25 for adults, $20 for seniors, and $10 for students and children 12 and under. Please call 818-753-3306 for directors and information. Purchase tickets online at www.ticketweb.com or by phone at 866-468-3399. Keyword: “San Fernando Valley Master Chorale.”
