LaBonge Breaks Ground

Councilmember Tom LaBonge will join Glendale Mayor Laura Friedman to break ground on an innovative park project serving residents of Los Angeles, Glendale, and Burbank. The event will be a groundbreaking for a new Bridle Trail and irrigation project in Bette Davis Park, connecting that equestrian trail to Glendale’s new Riverwalk project, which is currently under construction.

Luminaria Festival

The Cultural Affairs Committee of the Studio City Neighborhood Council will host a free Luminaria Festival for Studio City residents to celebrate the holiday season.

The free event will include free entertainment, tours of the Campo, children’s activities, and refreshments, as it recognizes the western and Spanish past of the Campo de Cahuenga. To celebrate the season, it will be decorated with beautiful luminarias. Friends of the Studio City Library will read children’s stories, Campo de Cahuenga will be offering oral history tours, and entertainers will perform during the event.

Free parking is available in the Campo de Cahuenga parking lot or the MTA parking lot.
