Members from almost every neighborhood council in Council District 4 attended Tom’s community leadership breakfast on Thursday morning. The group discussed development issues, beautification and other items of district-wide interest. Thanks to everyone who attended.
The 2010 Census will begin its outreach to the central part of the city next week. The purpose of this meeting is to coordinate and develop local strategies to reach the hard-to-count communities in each of these areas and get them mobilized to participate in the 2010 Census. Federal funding levels are determined by census numbers, so it’s important that every resident be counted. The meeting will be held on Monday, December 14th from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon at the California Endowment, YOSEMITE A, 1000 North Alameda Street, Los Angeles, CA 90012. For more information, please contact: office at (213) 978-0301 or via e-mail to Juan Rodriguez at firstname.lastname@example.org.
