7th Annual Student Design Competition
Now until December 4th, the Burbank Building Division is taking applications from all high school students for the 7th Annual Student Design Competition. The contest is an opportunity to creatively explore building design, site planning, transportation, community services and redevelopment by designing a desert residence. The top prizes are three environmental scholarships generously sponsored by Burbank Water & Power and the Burbank Recycle Center in the amounts of three, two and one thousand dollars.

L.A. Cinema Club Presents a Video Workshop
Guests are invited to the December meeting of the Video Workshop to view members’ videos of holiday interest or family heritage. The meeting will be on Wednesday, Dec. 2 at 7:30 pm at the Social Hall of the Little White Chapel in Burbank. The hall is located on Jeffries, just east of Hollywood Way. Parking is adjacent.

Burbank Noon Kiwanis meets every Wednesday at the Burbank Y.M.C.A. from 12-1:30 pm. Our focus is believing in and helping children, taking pride in the community, reaching out to those in need, and building enduring friendships.
