Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters Honor Actress Sally Kellerman

Sally Kellerman, Oscar-nominated actress who created the role of Maj. “Hot Lips” Houlihan in the motion picture “M*A*S*H,” was honored by the Pacific Pioneer Broadcasters at a luncheon on Friday, May 15, 2009 at the Woodland Hills Marriott Hotel.
Pacific Pioneer President Chuck Southcott presided over a dais that included Dyan Canon, Fred Cort, Robert Forster, Brenda Vaccaro, record producers Robert Estes and Val Garay, Kellerman’s husband, producer Jonathan Krane, disc jockey Helen Borger, Hal David, Stanley Dorfman, Lili Tomlin and writer-producer Hal Kanter.
The luncheon was one of five annually by the broadcasters, a group founded in 1966 by Art Gilmore, Edgar Bergan and Jim (Fibber McGee) Jordan, and which honors stars of the entertainment world. Jeanne DeVivier Brown is program chairperson.
