By Donna Thomas, Director of Corporate Communications, Senior Resource Group
(Northridge, CA – February 26, 2008) Designed by the award-winning architects at Mithun, The Village at NorthRidge is an innovative senior living community that blends urban energy with resort-like tranquility. Now 75 percent complete, construction is rapidly progressing with the community on schedule to open fall 2009.
The Village at NorthRidge’s distinctive architectural styling features expanses of glass and terraces overlooking courtyards, a seamless flow between indoor and outdoor spaces, and an elegant, yet comfortable aura of hospitality.
“While inspired by classic Southern California architecture, The Village at NorthRidge’s design style will be simply unmatched to anything in the area,” said Jerry McDevitt, AIA, LEED® AP and principal at the Mithun architectural firm.
Mithun brings more than 20 years of senior living and urban design experience to the development of The Village at NorthRidge. The company has designed over 200 senior living projects encompassing the full continuum of senior living care across the U.S., Canada and Japan.
