Whether one’s visit to DeBell Golf Club is for business or pleasure, those in search of any and all things golf need not look any further. Widely renowned for exemplary service and affordable prices, the recent completion in December of 2008 of the main clubhouse (originally built in the 1960’s) has enabled DeBell to accommodate considerably more golf-goers stylishly. Nearly doubling in size since the new additions, it is clear that the main clubhouse has “changed the feel of the atmosphere,” explains Scott Scozzola, the Director of Golf for the past eight years. Greatly enhancing the functionality of the clubhouse with craftsman-style architecture “is more appropriate for the location,” says Scott, and it demonstrates to visitors, new and old, the type of service provided, “[visitors]say it has more of a private, country club feel,” states Scott.
Already the “destination golf shop” in Burbank with prices competitive to any discount golfing store, the fact that the newly opened clubhouse has doubled in size and inventory has allowed for an increase in the range of products carried in the golf shop. “We’re constantly getting new stock,” explains Scott, and because of the larger inventory, DeBell’s golf shop offers numerous opportunities to showcase its inventory. During frequent demo days, visitors are able to try out products in the store before purchasing. And anything not currently carried can be ordered at no extra charge.
