Learning even the basics of ballroom dancing will give you more confidence at any party or social event that includes dancing. It will also help you feel more creative in non-partner dances where it is strictly freestyle, such as nightclub dancing to disco or pop music.
When people first come to our studio to learn to dance, they may be shy and a little apprehensive but once they discover it is something they can do, their confidence increases and it changes their outlook of themselves. Ballroom dancing is a fun and easy way to become more social. For a couple, it is a great way to enhance their relationship.
All in all, learning to dance will make your holidays more merry and bright. New Year’s Eve is probably the most traditional of all dance party nights. There’s still time to get ready for it. Or if you are on a cruise this month, you’ll want to have some dancing skills.
