By Cindy Ortiz

Hollywood Piano’s Annual Labor Day Sale is just around the corner. Are you ready?

T37-08-COVER-Hollywood Piano 2“We wait this weekend to bring it all out,” says Glenn Treibitz, president of Hollywood Piano. “It’s a great time for people to get a piano, a digital piano, or a player piano.”

In the past, hundreds of people have shown up to the sale and hundreds are expected this year. Around 150 pianos will be on display and, with even more space at their new location in Burbank, the event is expected to be a blowout.

Enjoy free hotdogs, sodas, and popcorn while browsing for the perfect piano. Don’t let the heat keep you from coming out; a big tent is set up for the three-day sale starting Saturday, Aug. 31, through Monday, Sept. 2, at 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. The sale is also opened to the public as a “Preview Day” on Friday, Aug. 30, but by appointment only.

“We really go the extra mile for our customers,” Treibitz says. “We believe in creating relationships … over 50 percent of our business comes from referrals. We’re the place Hollywood goes to.”

T37-08-COVER-Hollywood Piano 1Ever wonder where celebrities buy their pianos or perhaps where well-known films get their pianos? Why, Hollywood Piano, of course.

Yes, even the piano played by Archie and Edith in All in the Family was from Hollywood Piano. Recently, actors Chris Evans and Robert Pattinson purchased pianos as well as singer Lana Del Rey.

“We work hard to continue to supply the best piano value at the best prices with the best service,” Treibitz says.

Who wouldn’t go to Hollywood Piano? Their staff consists of musicians, teachers, and piano technicians. The various selections they offer include: one-of-a-kind collections that are traded, repos, and the classics, new and old.

Not to mention, Hollywood Piano has been operating since 1928, and throughout that time, they have offered quality service and pianos not only to the general public but also to top-hit television shows such as I Love Lucy, Will & Grace, and Desperate Housewives. Over the course of 85 years, Hollywood Piano has been owned by two families. That tradition continues today, as Treibitz’s sister Cheryl Fox is the vice president of the company.

At their new location in Burbank, they now have a recital hall for performances and even a music school. Their building is located by the 5 freeway, another bonus for being more accessible.

So, save the date, folks: the Labor Day weekend sale at Hollywood Piano. You never know who you will run into. Treibitz cordially invites you and your loved ones to “C’mon down and get a hotdog and a soda! Come and say ‘Hi.’”

Hollywood Piano is located at 323 S. Front St. in Burbank. For more information, visit their website at hollywoodpiano.com or call (818) 954-8500.
