Located in the heart of Burbank, romancing the bean is the perfect café to enjoy breakfast, lunch, or your favorite beverage. Kerry Krull, the café’s owner and a Le Cordon Bleu graduate, works alongside the chefs to create unique, organic, and delicious dishes.
The breakfast menu offers a variety of healthy choices including house-made Granola, Muffins, Scrambled Eggs, Bacon and Toast, Assorted Croissants, and Irish Oatmeal. Lunch dishes include soups and sandwiches; Italian Hero, Ham and Cheddar, Turkey and Baby Swiss. Farm Fresh Salads are the perfect side dish for your favorite lunch.
The all-new Juice Bar has taken on a life of its own. The baristas serve signature freshly squeezed juices, and are happy to make custom juice just for you. Kerry’s homemade pastries taste great with refreshing signature coffees such as Organic Drip, French Press, Espresso, Americano, Macchiato, Cappuccino, or Cold Brew Organic Iced Coffee.
Try unique Smoothies such as Tropical Twist, Mango Madness, Strawberry Almond, or Raw Cacao Shake. romancing the bean also offers a variety of delicious teas including Green Tea, Jasmine Pearls, White Tea, Chamomile, Black Tea, and White Coconut Crème. The café even offers tasty Fresh Squeezed Lemonade.
Unlike a fast-food restaurant, the café has a down-home feel and meals are served on elegant dinnerware. Staff members are always smiling at romancing the bean. Personally, I felt relaxed, as I enjoyed sitting in the café, working on my novel, and listening to soft music in the background. While there were quite a few patrons, romancing the bean never seemed noisy or overcrowded.
Even better, Kerry has a wonderful project in the works, one that involves a Community Garden, where she can team up with local growers to host a weekly Farmers Market.
romancing the bean is open Monday thru Friday 7a-7p and Saturdays & Sundays 8a-6p.
romancing the bean is located at 3413 W. Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank. For more information, call (818) 845-2326 or visit romancingthebeancafe.com.

Kerry donates compost from organic coffee to local schools that teach children how to garden. Once their gardens are ready to harvest, the kids go on a field trip to romancing the bean to learn how to make salads and sandwiches from their own garden!
