Universal CityWalk, a Fun and Exciting Entertainment Hub for Everyone
How much excitement and entertainment can you fit into one city block? An enormous amount if it’s Universal CityWalk. It’s ideal for couples’ date nights, families, gal-pals, and good buddies getting together for a great night out on the town.
The entertainment hub created right next to Universal Studios Hollywood, CityWalk is a strolling causeway of an awesome variety of restaurants, music and comedy clubs, unique stores, fashion boutiques, ice cream and coffee shops, and much more. The latest blockbuster movies can be enjoyed at CityWalk Cinemas, which also features an IMAX screen. It’s a real bargain with the $2 movie parking with the purchase of a movie ticket — rebates are provided at the box office. CityWalk Cinemas gives guests one of L.A.’s best movie-going experiences.
The free concerts are the centerpiece of the fun-packed CityWalk experience, held at the popular “5 Towers” outdoor venue. Weekends this summer, the “5 Towers” concert stage puts the spotlight on energetic live performances, going on now through Sunday, August 31st.
The popular “Music Spotlight Series” showcases an eclectic mix of talented artists, from industry favorites to emerging stars, on Thursday nights. Saturday night dance fever gives guests a chance to show off their moves and learn new steps with choreographed lessons, while community acts and Latin flavored music, including the annual “Descarga en CityWalk con Telemundo y mun2,” round out weekend fun on Sundays.
The sizzling August concert schedule has events taking place from 6-9pm and includes the following (note: subject to change):
