Director/Producer Spencer Collins of B.L.A.C.Male Productions does it again. This year with a group of his close friends and MC’s Jensen Atwood (of Noah’s Arc) and Nefreteri Sheperd (of “Single Mom’s Planet”) he’s up to big things, changing the lives of those infected and affected by HIV. He has corralled the troops for a night of transformation: Sunday, December 1st, National World AIDS Day at Vintage Hollywood. This fundraiser will benefit programs that continue to raise awareness around HIV while empowering our community.
Spencer is determined to erase the stigma attached to this illness by changing the face of HIV and partnering with AHF to providing free on-site testing. Musical guests include: American Idol-Finalist Jacob Lusk, Local Gospel Sensations Lorenzo Johnson and Praizum, Pleasant, Kelly Fountaine, CeeCee & Crisaliss Topial; this will be a night you don’t want to miss! Honorees include: Deborah Fountaine, retired nurse and heroes in the struggle, along with Elder Michael Flowers of Pride & Promote and Sydney “FLEX” Porter of Body Boyz United all being recognized for their contributions. Along with recognition of several recipients of scholarships for an education dedicated to erasing the past by creating new possibilities for the future.
