Flappers Is Comedy & Dinner Made Fantastic – Right In Downtown Burbank!

Flappers Comedy Club and Restaurant, located in the heart of downtown Burbank, is having their special 2-Year Birthday Party on Sept 7th, 8th & 9th and admission is free for this celebration! Headliners include Darren Carter the Party Starter, James P. Connolly, Michael Rayner and several SURPRISE celebrity comics!

The club/restaurant was conceived by comedians Barbara Holiday and her partner Dave Reinitz who started a smaller venue of the same name in Claremont three years ago.

Why are they special? Barbara says, “This Comedy clubs is now a family fun place for a good fun evening of comedy and food – we have shows for all kinds of audiences – shows designed for seniors, the Gay and Lesbian community, family friendly shows…shows for everyone!”

It’s not just comedy – you want a great place to just go and eat? ”We call it ‘American Comfort Food’,” Barbara explains – “We have everything from chocolate chip cookies and milk, to huge burgers, pizza, steak, salmon, gourmet meatloaf…great food!”

“We added an amazing Gourmet Mac’N’Cheese – that everyone seems to love!” Do you have a special event? Barbara continues, “We can do birthday parties, gatherings and even plan and customize shows for corporate events and holiday parties too!”

Come any night of the week Tuesday through Sunday and you might see such un-announced comedians like…Charles Fleischer, Margaret Cho, Jennifer Coolidge, Bobcat Goldthwait, Rob Schneider, Paul Reiser, Caroline Rhea, Pauly Shore, Wayne Brady, Greg Proops, Carlos Mencia, Sarah Silverman, Dave Coulier, Eric Estrada and more –they might just show up to test out their new material!

Barbara excitingly says, “The point of the Birthday weekend is – it’s our chance to give back to the community and invite everyone to come and check us out – at no charge – and see for themselves – how we brought laughter back to the valley!”

With stages on the Patio, Bar, the Yoo Hoo Room and the Main Stage, Barbara explains, “Our theme is Flappers of the 1920’s and we are still celebrating– the repeal of prohibition – we are a comfortable, dinner friendly and a local place to have a laugh or two!
