Senior playwright and screenwriter Marguerite Fair, member of Women in Film and the Female Playwrights Imitative, gives a new spin to fundraising. Goddess Intervention is a play about four obsessive Goddesses on the comical path to self-realization. Written and directed by Ms. Fair, the play was created to help fund her next play production: Your Late Mother, written by Marguerite in collaboration with Kevin Dobson, star of the hit shows Kojak and Knots Landing.

Marguerite’s platform is that it is never too late to start or reinvent your life or career. Her motto is that we are here to inspire people and be inspired by people. At age 10, she knew she was a writer and at age 48, she started to take it seriously and has never looked back. If success means living your bliss every day, then she is truly successful.

Goddess Intervention showcases an inspirational and perfect cast. Starring: Cal Bartlett, star of The Bold and the Beautiful, Young and the Restless, and The Virginian. Cynthia Russell, Katsy Chappell, Toni Tinkelman, Jody Berger, and Audrey Mitchell are the charming and funny Goddesses. Maggie Gautier will set the laughter into motion as the “Mischief of Ceremonies.”

Goddess Intervention is on Sunday, June 23, at the SpiritWorks Center located at 260 N. Pass Ave. in Burbank. Time: 2 p.m. There is free parking in the lot and on the street. Tickets can be purchased on the site or at the door. There will be 50-50’s, door prizes, and refreshments. For tickets and more information, visit goddessintervention.com.
