On Tuesday, October 10 the Smoke House restaurant will celebrate its 71st anniversary by offering 30 percent discounts on all dinners from 4pm-10pm, with 10 percent of all sales that day being donated to the Houston Food Bank to assist victims of Hurricane Harvey.

“On our anniversary as a restaurant, we are proud to contribute a portion of our sales to our nation’s largest food bank in Houston,” said Marti Spencer, owner of the Smoke House.  “In a normal year, Houston’s food bank services over 800,000 people, and this year has been anything but typical. At this time, we also want to extend a special thanks to all our loyal customers who’ve supported us throughout the years.”

Festivities in the restaurant’s Lounge (6:30pm-7pm) will feature a complimentary champagne toast and birthday cake for all attendees, followed by a raffle, along with a very special surprise guest who’ll toast the Smoke House “from one legend to another.” Marv Robinson will entertain in the Lounge from 5pm-6:30pm, and again from 7pm ‘til closing.

Other restaurant highlights from October 10 thru October 31 include the optional $19.46 menu featuring Smoke House classics like Veal Parmesan, Steak Sinatra and Roast Turkey, and $19.46 bottles of house Chardonnay and Cabernet (with the purchase of lunch or dinner entrees).

The Smoke House, where every diner is treated like a star, is located at 4420 W Lakeside Dr. (corner of Lakeside & Barham) in Burbank. For more information call (818) 845-3731.
