From l, Mark Marino (guitar), Janie Steele, and Kurt Fries (keyboard).

On the first day of September, Saturday evening, Janie Steele and her band, Pacific Electric, were the headliners at Viva Cantina and Mexican Restaurant located at 900 W. Riverside Dr. in Burbank.

As usual, it was an exciting evening for Janie Steele and her band playing to an enthusiastic crowd of diners. Viva Restaurant is adjacent to the Equestrian Center, and the audience included lots of horse lovers and local residents who enjoyed their large menu selections of delicious food and drinks.

Viva recently celebrated their 60th anniversary, which reflected their popularity in the large crowd. Janie Steele and her band are always entertaining with a huge repertoire of songs from oldies to dance numbers and current hits. They perform at many different venues to varying audiences of new or returning followers; so if you miss them this time, watch for their next local date. The dance floor patrons included those from teens to seniors fully enjoying the best of the band as they danced during the evening.

Watch the local papers for their next appearance dates and places of Janie Steele and the talented Pacific Electric members. You will thoroughly enjoy it!
