October 11 is quickly approaching and with it comes the 22nd Annual Taste of Encino.
The Taste of Encino has evolved into an incredible street festival in the San Fernando Valley. From its simple beginnings with a few restaurants in 1986 with a few hundred visitors, the Taste of Encino has evolved over the years into one of the Valley’s most anticipated events of the year. It has been at its current location (on Ventura Blvd. between Balboa and Amestoy) for over 6 years, and enjoys thousands in attendance.
This year’s title sponsor, KSA Management, is showcasing 8 of their clients performing on the KSA Management Pavilion stage. The Pavilion will also double as our Beverage Garden with plenty of seating to enjoy food from the many restaurants who are involved. You will want to visit the KSA Pavilion throughout the day to listen to a host of singers, songwriters and great music.
As always, The Taste of Encino will feature a variety of ethnic and American foods, a host of local businesses, a home improvement expo, a fantastic health and wellness pavilion (with local non-profit groups), a new disaster preparedness exhibition, and over 50 local arts and crafts artisans. Bring your kids and experience an expanded and exciting kid’s area with an outdoor rock climbing wall, obstacle course and pumpkin patch. In addition, as always, the California Traditional Music Society will have three stages of music, including a storytelling stage inside the Center for Folk Music in Genesta Park.
The Taste of Encino is a signature event of the Encino Chamber of Commerce, and they look forward to inviting the entire Encino Community to enjoy the day with our members!
