A 60-inch water pipeline is being replaced on busy Coldwater Canyon Avenue.

As reported in THE TOLUCAN TIMES on March 6, Ledge Avenue is closed at Riverside Drive until at least later this month to accommodate the construction of a freeway sound wall.

Meanwhile, Coldwater Canyon Avenue is now shut down during daytime hours between Ventura Boulevard and Mulholland Drive until April 25. The L.A. Department of Water & Power is replacing a 99-year-old water pipeline under the street.

The closure hours are Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. Coldwater Canyon will have one lane open in each direction from 7 p.m. to 8:30 a.m. Monday through Friday and after 6 p.m. on Saturday.

The LADWP is working with City Councilmember Paul Krekorian’s office regarding road access issues. For more information contact Krekorian’s office at (818) 755-7676 or go to ladwpnews.com.
