This has been a difficult task in keeping her employers confident that she cares about her job, as she still wished to perform her duties at civic events.
One such event was to lay flowers on themonumentofVeteranson the celebrated 11-11-11 Veteran’s Day in North Hollywood at “Dignity”PierceBrothersMemorial Park,Valhalla. Attending to Jessica was “Gunny” USMC Ralph Walker, Combat Veteran fromVietnamand Past Commander of the American Legion Post 150 of Burbank. This year the Pageant will be held inMorroBayon Aug. 10–11. The sleepy little fishing village, which frames the monolithic “Morro Rock” into the tapestry from almost every view of the bay, creates a perfect paradise in which to bring girls ages 16 through 29 to compete for the coveted title. This year, the Pageant is being co-sponsored by the Morro Bay Chamber of Commerce, who will bring a festive tour of the beach front community to all who attend. Jessica will officiate the event and give up her crown to the new queen at the Coronation Ball. For more information, go to the website at www.CountryWesternPageant.com
