Jack’s Classic Hamburgers Cruise-In & Party is an event not to be missed!
A hamburger stand that has built a cult following over 25 years with their great food, Jack’s will celebrate with close to 100 cruise-in cars including pre-‘70s Muscle, Classics, Hot Rods, Touring Cars, and Motorcycles. An old-fashioned hamburger joint with mint condition old-fashioned cars in the San Fernando Valley. What better way to spend a spring Saturday afternoon?
Jack’s Classic Hamburgers in North Hollywood has had the same location for 15 years. It was originally founded by Jack Pinsker as a hobby 10 years before that at its original location at the corner of Coldwater Canyon and Riverside Drive.
Still active in management today, Jack searched for something to do as a newlywed who was starting to raise a family.
He mixed his desire to serve good food with a deep-seated passion for collecting classic cars. Jack once owned a 1939 cream-colored Chrysler that was used in a Janet Jackson video and now prides himself with his collection of such coveted makers as Packard, Dodge, and the ever-stellar Studebaker.
“Cars from collections stored in warehouses throughout the Valley will make their way to Jack’s hamburger stand,” says Barry Litzer, producer of the much-anticipated event. Barry, an avid car collector himself and longtime friend of Jack’s, said car clubs such as The Checkered Flag Club will be represented there.
Also in attendance will be George Barris, most famous for the original Batmobile. The event will be capped when Los Angeles City Councilmember Tom LaBonge will award Jack Pinsker a Certificate of Recognition for his valuable contribution to the local community.
Jack’s Classic Hamburgers Cruise-In & Party takes place on Saturday, March 29, 11a-3p. Jack’s is located at 11375 Riverside Dr. in North Hollywood. For more information, call (818) 761-4599.
