The Los Angeles School of Theater Arts, in Glendale/Atwater Village, offers a variety of acting classes for children ages 7 to 17 and for adults of all ages. It was established as a means of providing individuals with the opportunity to explore the world of acting, theater, film, and television, in a comfortable, safe, and affordable environment.
The facility also offers on-going classes for experienced actors who want to continue to improve and hone their craft.
With highly seasoned and experienced teachers on staff and an actual theater stage to work on, the process of learning is elevated to a much higher and professional level. It’s a means of giving the students a realistic sense of what is expected in the world of theater and film.
Our co-founder and school director, Jack Topalian, has extensive background as a professional and experienced actor, writer, director, and producer. A graduate of the American Conservatory Theater in San Francisco and the Stanford School of Drama, Mr. Topalian wanted to create an atmosphere where students of all levels can develop and advance properly. They will learn the fundamentals of acting, build self-confidence, and develop their imagination.
He will provide not only the steps of improving the art of acting but also help provide an insight in the advancement of acting as a career, from a business perspective. No matter if it’s Theater, Film, or Television that you may want to pursue, you will greatly benefit from the classes being offered.
