Screen legend Margaret O’Brien spoke and presented a red rose from her garden with film star Randal Malone, President of the Southern Calif. Motion Picture Council, to Carmelita Pittman, Founder of The Rose Breast Cancer Society and recording artist. Avid supporters of the organization for several years, they informed Carmelita, board member of the Southern Calif. Motion Picture Council, that she will be honored as Entertainer of the Year at the SCMPC Fall Ball in October. Mickey Rooney, another member, will also be honored in memory.
