February is the sweetest month of the year, mainly due to the celebration of Valentine’s Day. So why not go to the sweetest place, meneSweet at 3429A West Magnolia Blvd. in Burbank, for something special?
This colorful sweet shop is an original with its cool Southern California flair and dedication to the “best of the best.” meneSweet showcases delicious specialty sweets and treats from some of the most creative local chefs and candy makers.
meneSweet opened in Magnolia Park back in October of 2016. Part of the ideology behind the shop is that a little sweet pleasure is a nice reward any day, any time. Plus, the shop carries some vegan and gluten free items.
Small is a really big deal at meneSweet. Most of the desserts are “menes.” However, don’t let the size fool you. In the dessert case, check the assortment of items like cream puffs, chocolate eclairs, cheesecakes, fruit tarts, luscious cakes, fancy cookies — all packed with a lot of flavor. Also, decorative delights such as towers, cake pops, and lemon and chocolate bombes are frequently among the selections here.
On the candy shelves, meneSweet stocks some amazing pecan brittle along with handmade John Kelly Chocolates. Also, there are state of the art vending machines filled with beverages, like Hubert’s Lemonade, as well as Haagen-Dazs and Coolhaus ice cream. Plus, there are some vegan and gluten free items.
Meanwhile, Valentine’s Day, February 14, is fast approaching. Don’t delay. Put a smile on someone’s face with a sweet treat from meneSweet.
