Move over Hollywood Walk Of Fame, Universal Studios and Venice Beach: L.A. has a new spectacular amusement draw in “Pop Rockz” — the first multi-media, pop-tribute extravaganza paying homage to stars like Michael Jackson, Lady Gaga, Katy Perry, Beyonce, Britney Spears, Justin Timberlake, and more.

The exciting new attraction is the brainchild of The Talent Plan Company’s Kevin Weiler. “This attraction offers audience members the energy and pizzazz of walking into a music superstar’s concert or the Grammys,” says Weiler. Talent Plan is the country’s leading look-alike talent management company.

Last week Studio City’s Club Rain nightclub hosted showcases for press, entertainment, and tourism executives. Celebrity impersonators performed some of the day’s biggest hits accompanied by choreographed dancers and lights, fabulous video images, and bursts of confetti. Reaction was highly positive resulting in packed houses and standing ovations.

It makes sense that Pop Rockz would find a receptive audience in Hollywood, the celebrity capital of the world. “There is such intense interest in music stars and celebrity culture in general,” Weiler explains.

His goal is to include Pop Rockz on guided tours as part of the “Hollywood Experience” for visitors. The show will also be available in different package concepts and for booking at private or public events both locally and in other cities.
