Burbank Sunrise Rotary, a multiple award winning non-profit organization serving over two dozen charities both locally and internationally, is having its Second Annual Rummage Sale Fundraiser on Saturday, June 16, from 8 a.m.—1 p.m. at 1700 W. Oak St. (between Olive Avenue and Alameda Avenue). We will have artwork, picture frames, jewelry, women’s clothing, designer handbags and shoes, a china hutch, and other furniture, household items, classic board games, several TV’s, a mini-fridge — as Chuck Barris used to say on The Gong Show, “more stuff” — and, for the guys, an air compressor!
Some of the local charities we serve are BCR –A Placeto Grow, BTAC, Burbank Family Services Agency, Burbank Arts Education Foundation, Family Promise, Counseling 4 Kids, Friends of the Burbank Library, and Kids Community Dental Clinic. ALL proceeds are returned to the community to these and other charities. All unused items will be given to the Salvation Army for them to sell in their thrift stores.
