Schools are, by nature, cyclical, and so another graduating class is moving on. As educators we have a mission: to help prepare our students for the next phase of their lives. The expectation is not just for them to be able to read, write, and do arithmetic, but for them to be independent learners, have developed self-confidence and leadership skills, to value who they are, be great communicators, and begin to understand how the world works environmentally, politically, and socially. A lot happens at Wesley beyond what you might expect.
“The Wesley School is home to some of the most caring and colorful teachers I have ever encountered … every one of them has displayed deep passion for our education … they have given me the confidence to push myself and have made my learning experience at Wesley the best it could be.” (Nick – Wesley Graduating Class of 2012)
We take great pride in where our students are accepted every year, not only because they are great schools, but because they are so different from one another. We value the diversity of our students: the athletes, the artists, the writers, the scientists, and the performers. The Class of 2012 is matriculating to: Buckley, Campbell Hall, High Tech LA High, LACHSA, Loyola, Marymount, Mayfield, Notre Dame, Oakwood,Providence, Viewpoint, and Waverly.
We are also excited to share a partial list of colleges that students from the Class of 2008 will attend:BostonUniversity, Colgate, DePaul, Emory, Johns Hopkins, NYU, Ohio Wesleyan, Parsons the New School for Design,Santa Clara,SkidmoreCollege,Syracuse, and Tulane.
