Julian’s Auctions will hold both live and online auction bids on Sept. 20 and 21 for items from Bob Hope’s estate.

More items from the estate of Toluca Lake’s own Bob Hope will be hitting the auction block at Julian’s Auction House In Beverly Hills Sept. 20 and 21.

The collection represents more than 60 years of an illustrious show business career. Hope died at age 100 in 2003. His wife Dolores passed away in 2011 at age 102.

Up for auction are works of art, Persian carpets, furniture (including an antique George I bureau cabinet valued at $70,000), presidential books and photographs (including one signed to Hope by John F. Kennedy), and much of Hope’s golfing memorabilia including his golf cart.

Many of the items in the sale are sourced from the couple’s Toluca Lake and Palm Spring residences. The Palm Springs house is currently on the market for $50 million. The Toluca Lake house is now being “staged” in preparation for sale.

Proceeds from the auction will benefit the Bob and Dolores Hope Charitable Foundation.
