Become a resident of Burbank Senior Artists Colony and enjoy a varied schedule of events, classes, entertainment and creative expression, tailored to resident’s wide ranging interests and talents.
The resident writing program is really taking off. Burbank Senior Artists Colony residents are creating wonderful stories in the creative writing class, beautiful prose in the poetry program and in- depth reflection in the memoir writing workshop. The group meets Mondays at 4pm.
Poetry and Prose with Oshea, continues Wednesday mornings at 10am.
Sarah’s creative writing class meets March 21, and every other Thursday, at 12:30pm.
Everyone is telling their story in Marlene Nichols’ popular, monthly memoir writing workshop expanded to two Saturday sessions this month. Tell your story at 2pm, March 23 and March 30.
“Find Your Inner Artist, with Polet” moved to Wednesdays at 1pm. And don’t forget Katrina’s, Multimedia Digital Art class on alternate Saturdays at 11am.
That’s your cue! Valerie Gould’s Beginning and Intermediate Acting class meets Sundays at 1:30pm. For spontaneity, humor and truth, “Just Go with It!” with acting coach Daheli Hall, presents her improvisation acting class Thursdays at 4pm.
Slim and Trim with Jack continues Thursday, March 21 at 12:30pm. The weekly “Yoga, for All” with Rod continues every Friday at 10:30am. Exercise classes meet throughout each week.
If you feel your phone is smarter than you, get educated. “Tech Help with Miles,” meets at 1pm on alternate Fridays.
We all need to get out. “Excursions with Jack” ventures to the Valley Relics Museum on March 30.
