I did enjoy your article. Women were definitely taught a subservient role and my generation (women in our 60’s) began to break that mold. My brother-in-law told me that their generation of men grew up thinking they were going to be the breadwinner, the authority, and one who succeeds in the family.
Not so, of course.
And our daughters are even stronger. I’m creative and although I was able to fill the role of wife and mother, and now grandmother, I ENJOYED IT. I work with my children and grandchildren to help them learn as many skills as I can so they can feel more confident about themselves and their abilities. I’m also expecting a new granddaughter soon!
Thank you again for a wonderful article.
