Actor Luke Perry dies after suffering massive stroke

Actor Luke Perry, 52, died of stroke complications on March 4. He suffered a massive stroke on February 28 and was hospitalized at St. Joseph’s in Burbank.

Paramedics responded to Perry’s Sherman Oaks home on the morning of February 28. When they arrived, Perry was responsive and talking but his condition deteriorated. He was then transported to the hospital.

At the time of death family and friends were at the actor’s side including his children Jack and Sophie, fiancé Wendy Madison Bauer, ex-wife Minnie Sharp, mother Ann Bennett and other close family and friends.

Perry starred as Fred Andrews on the TV series Riverdale had been shooting episodes recently on the Warner Brothers Burbank lot.

Perry shot to fame in the ‘90s playing Dylan McKay on Beverly Hills, 90210.
