It’s Happening at Arnie Morton’s The Steakhouse—Burbank!

Highly regarded for service and prime cuts of beef, Arnie Morton’s the Steakhouse-Burbank (3400 W. Olive Ave.) is upscale in every respect including its extensive and pricey menu, which makes its new three-course Prime Lunch Special worthy of a Palate report. I’m pleased to report that a smart combination of popular starters, entrées and house desserts offer something for every taste, making the mid-day prix fixe $25 tab (for food items only) an attractive option.
A cup of luscious lobster bisque or five-onion soup provides a hearty start. Or, opt for the house, mixed greens or Caesar salads. Proceed to a tender, juicy rib eye steak or Chicken Christopher with mashed potatoes. Even the grandly-grilled colossal shrimp and sea scallops with grilled tomato over sautéed spinach or fresh grilled Northwest King Salmon with sautéed garlic green beans. Each table is provided a freshly baked loaf of warm, whole grain bread.
Top off your gourmet luncheon special with either a generous cut of key lime pie or a double chocolate mousse. (Alas, the requisite vintage or fresh, hot brew are extra essentials in the posh, friendly surroundings where host Kevin‘s efficient staffers are seldom without a smile.)
Also at Morton’s, a special Valentine’s Day menu will greet sweethearts on Sunday, February 14th featuring a prix fixe, three-course, prime steak and seafood dinner for two ($109). The event will be celebrated at all Morton’s romantic locations including Burbank, Woodland Hills and Beverly Hills. Advance reservations are essential for the annual love fest.
You’d have to travel far to break bread with a more attractive clientele.
