The Alverno High School Mission is to EMPOWER each young woman to be exactly the person she wants to be.

At Alverno High School, our mission is to empower each young woman to be exactly the person she wants to be. Through college-prep academics, athletics, arts, and activities and a simple mantra of “Be You. Be Alverno,” we foster our student’s natural talents and abilities so they become women of character.

Enlivened by the spirit of our Immaculate Heart Community sponsors, and mindful of the Franciscan roots of our founders, Alverno’s program — academic, spiritual, aesthetic, social, and physical — is shaped by the staff, trustees, and students in light of the world for which the students are being educated.

Not only do 100 percent of Alverno graduates go to college, but they leave Alverno as intelligent, compassionate, and empowered women who know who they are and who are ready to make a difference in the world.

We invite you to visit the campus and learn more about what Alverno can do for you. We hope you join us for Activity Day on Saturday, Oct. 19, and Open House on Sunday, Dec. 8.
