Her sense of humor draws them in. Doris Bergman, queen of the gifting suites, held her annual Emmy extravaganza for the crème of the Hollywood crop with a Moroccan themed sit-down gourmet lunch.

In an adjoining room at the Fig and Olive, about two dozen vendors set up shop expo style to showcase their wares and hope their newest and trendiest product/service was photographed with a familiar face and shows up in print or online.

The vendors are the stars. Art Lewin of Art Lewin Bespoke Clothiers lunched with Ray Donovan’s John Voight, whom he just designed an Emmy tux for. Voight recently visited his new Beverly Hills salon for measuring. Just back from his honeymoon, Lewin and I talked travel, as he had visited his Chile homeland and whisked to Equador and Cabo San Lucas.

Kate Burton, Khandi Alexander, Gregg Daniel, Paige Hurd, Chris Farley, Dot Marie Jones, and Eva La Rue stopped in.

Skincare expert and facial plastic surgeon, Dr. George Sun, who teaches the USC Medical staff, advised and generously gave his MDSUN products. He asked actress Patrika Darbo what she moisturizes with. She said she didn’t and explained an old family tradition. This company brand: think yellow: His uber packaging was yellow, as was a very tasteful floral display, and his beautiful wife Zehra, company CEO, wore a buttercup Asian style dress.

Unity Designs displayed vintage inspired denim shorts, but gifted summer dresses both with unique stones and bright summer colors.

Single, a Bergman staple, gifted dresses/blouses specifically for the Hollywood crowd, if you were a size four or smaller! Kidding.

We can’t forget Whitening Lightening and Gerard Cosmetics. Jen Gerard, CEO was missed as she was visiting an exotic locale. She gifted a Red Carpet Survival Kit, a fun keepsake for those pre-Emmy moments.

Intemporelle Designs displayed suede clutches with high end brooches that your Mom, Grandma or Great Grandma owned. Open the latch and you’d see killer colored linings inside the purse.

Vida Emanuel European Day Spa offered facials (in her Beverly Hills salon) and displayed the cutest and smallest “menu” we’ve ever seen for body and face treatments.

It’s not a Bergman suite without Twisted Silver and Perch, which attracts many VIPs who know they will be leaving the bash with an unusual and trendy bracelet, necklace or earrings, made from the environment. That’s our Debra Mitchell!

Other vendors included: My Sweet Cupcake (of TV fame), Go Fore Broke (Sportswear, especially golf), Telic Footwear (most comfy sandals), Roadkill Ranch Boutique, Travelers Choice Luggage, Bling It Hat Designs, Radar Watches, My Saint My Hero (the gift of a blessing), Olive Designs, Honest Tea, Azul Tequila and Veved Iced Premium Vodka.

Charity Sponsor: Wednesday’s Child whose spokesperson Christine DeVine sadly not in the house, as she had jury duty. Christine, don’t you know someone?
