Kol Tuv is a warm and inclusive new Jewish community, where Jews from all different backgrounds are invited to come together to explore and enrich their own personal relationship to Judaism and to themselves. Co-founders Gregory Metzger and Cantor Rebekah Mirsky believe that every member of the community is an integral part of its mission, and that active participation is key.

Kol Tuv creates opportunities for Jewish learning and personal growth, such as finding meaning within the old stories and rich lessons of our Torah, interpreting prayers in ways that are relevant and applicable to everyday life, tapping into the creative process through writing Jewish music and prayers, developing fellowship, and engaging in acts of social justice.

Gregory D. Metzger, a student at the AJR-CA, is the Director for The Jewish Committee for Personal Service (JCPS). He served as the Rabbi Harold M. Schulweis Rabbinic Intern for Jewish World Watch and has a long history of Social Justice, Tzedek and Tikkun.

A musician since the age of seventeen, Cantor Rebekah Mirsky was ordained in 2010 from AJR. She served as active cantor for Beit T’Shuvah for seven years, and had written a lot of their original music, played a key role in the production of their original musical, Freedom Song, and was one of the creators of their Music in Recovery program.

Please join the Kol Tuv community as we deepen our connections, finding meaning through song & music, prayer & Torah, tradition & story.

Kol Tuv at Beth Meir is located at 11725 Moorpark St. in Studio City.
