Please allow me to introduce myself. My name is Gabriel Vandervort, and I am a long-time resident here in the area. After many years working as a producer and writer for the History Channel, I started my own business doing what I feel to be the most interesting job in the world. I buy and sell authentic ancient artifacts and coins from old collections and museum deaccessions in Europe, North America, and the Middle East. I am excited to announce that I will be holding a live ancient artifacts auction this coming Sunday, March 14th, 2010! It will feature genuine ancient Egyptian, Greek, Roman, Pre-Columbian, Near Eastern, and Mesopotamian antiquities from well-provenanced collections around the world.
The auction will be held in the Grand Ballroom of the Holiday Inn in Burbank, from 10 a.m. until around 3 p.m. There will be free food and coffee, and free parking if you bring this newspaper clipping with you! You can come to the auction in person or bid online… you’re sure to get some fantastic pieces at great prices.
