MelroseMAC; A Multi-Faceted Technology Company
By Jennifer Speer
Martin Vann is CEO of MelroseMAC and there is a reason for that – and it’s not just his business and tech savvy. He truly loves the company. It was refreshing to hear his enthusiasm not only for the work he’s doing, but for the company itself; claiming it “a wonderful community-based business with great potential to help many people.” MelroseMAC is a woman-owned, L.A.-based Apple retailer, reseller, and Apple Authorized Sales and Service Center. Sandy Nasseri is Owner and Co-Founder along with her husband, Sean Nasseri.
The Burbank location, at 2400 W. Olive Ave., has been the premier Apple retail location for nine years. Through this and their Hollywood and Culver City stores, they offer Apple products for consumers and creative professionals; including workstations, iPads, storage, accessories, and training for all Apple products.
Mr. Vann joined the company to oversee MelroseTEC; an IT consulting and sales division of MelroseMAC, created to provide technology solutions for broadcasters, media organizations, corporations, and government clients. They find solutions for businesses with complex content requirements or that work with large editing systems such as those in large corporations or the entertainment industry. MelroseTEC has large scale iPad deployment programs specific to each company’s needs. They can perform support and repair services in their stores; travel to a client’s location to troubleshoot and execute solutions; help find the right components for specific needs; and assist with integration and training.
When prospective MelroseTEC clients schedule a consultation, they receive a free product demonstration at any of the MelroseMAC retail store locations which, by the way, are really fantastic environments. They have professional demo systems set up to provide in-depth views of the latest editing systems, such as Avid Media Composer, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Final Cut Pro X; plus peripheral applications like DaVinci Resolve, Adobe After Effects, and more. Through MelroseTEC, all programs are designed, integrated, and deployed. They also provide a variety of professional consulting and support services, including facility design, cabling, and preventative maintenance, plus ongoing support and training.
MelroseMAC and its MelroseTEC division offer an interesting two-pronged business dynamic in our community; one focused on fulfilling all needs for Apple enthusiasts and the other providing complete technology solutions for businesses.
MelroseMAC is open Monday through Fridays 9 a.m.—6 p.m., and Saturdays at 10 a.m.—5 p.m. For more information, call (818) 840-8466.
