Message from Rabbi Moishe Carlebach
I would like to wish my dear wife Michal a double Mazel tov. Firstly Nov. 30 was her Jewish Birthday. Secondly there is only one thing I can say that I share in common with the Lubavitcher Rebbe and that is our Wedding Anniversary which was this past week on Yud Daled Kislev – 14th of Kislev.
Happiness – Shimchot are special when joined with family and friends. We invite everyone in the community to please join us in shul this week for a kiddush in honor of these special occasions. Shabbat Services begin at 10 a.m. followed by the Kiddush — lunch at approx 12. May we continue to share in each other’s simchas – happiness.
This week we commemorate a day known as the “Rosh Hashanah” “New Year’ of Chassidus, the 19th of Kislev.
The nineteenth of Kislev marks the “birth” of Chassidism: the point at which it was allowed to emerge from secrets of Jewish Mysticism into the light of day, to grow and develop and for everyone no matter their level of Jewish knowledge or religious practice to discover.
