“On the Red Carpet” is the theme of the Annual Luncheon and Fashion Show presented by Providence St. Joseph Medical Center Guild. The event will take place on Saturday, May 3, in the Grand Ballroom of the Sheraton Universal Hotel. When you enter the ballroom area on the Red Carpet, you may be interviewed by Margie Barron, our roving reporter.

The festivities start at 10:30 a.m. with a boutique featuring clothing, handbags, jewelry, and gift items.

Lucinda Miedema will produce the fashion show which features top designers in Los Angeles. The highlight of the show will be the Physician and Medical Administrative Staff of the Medical Center on the runway with the models.

There will be a special $10,000 cash Grand Prize. Only 250 tickets of $100 each will be sold and they can be purchased in advance at the Gift Gallery of the Medical Center or at the event.

This is the Guild’s major fundraising event of the year and has assumed a pledge of $500,000 to the Hycy and Howard Hill Neuroscience Institute for the treatment of Strokes, Parkinson’s disease, Alzheimer’s, Brain Tumors, Multiple Sclerosis, and Epilepsy. Kathleen Marsden, Director of the Event and Julie McArdle, Co-Chair need your help to make this event a success. With the generosity of all who support the Guild with contributions and attendance at their fundraising events, the Guild’s goal will be met.
