Renaissance Festival Is This Weekend!
Celebrating its 16th anniversary, Koroneburg Old World Renaissance Festival brings history to colorful life as Crossroads Riverview Park in Corona is transformed into a hustling, bustling — and a bit bawdy — old world Bavarian village this weekend.
The popular, annual celebration of all things Renaissance takes place this Saturday, June 15, 11a—9p and Sunday, June 16, 11a—6p. The festival site encompasses approximately nine beautiful wooded acres of the 120-acre Riverview Park.
Festival organizers promise more family fun than ever. The event is being revamped and re-energized with more authentic period re-enactments and hundreds of vividly costumed, always-in-character performers, artisans, crafters, and trades people interacting with festival-goers.
One of the Southland’s most affordable family entertainment options the Festival offers full-day and weekend admission at reasonable prices. Acres of $5 car, truck, and RV parking are available and well-behaved pets on leashes are welcomed.
In addition to continuous entertainment and food, visitors will find many artisans, crafters, and trades people selling a wide range of wares such as jewelry, clothing, costumes and accessories, art glass, pottery, leather goods, wood, metal and stone items, musical instruments, and other novelties.
