The Marlins edged the Dodgers, 5-4, on Friday as hard-throwing Jose Fernandez (2-2) fanned seven, walked two, gave up eight hits and three runs (earned) over six innings.

In the sixth, Goldschmidt’s two-run homer off Clayton Kershaw knotted it at 2-2, erasing run-scoring doubles by Gonzalez and Nick Punto in the fourth inning.
The Diamondbacks clipped the Dodgers, 5-3, on Tuesday behind Goldschmidt’s three RBIs, while Punto (two hits and a run) drove in two, and Kemp (two hits) scored a run.
