Actress Jo Anne Worley honors California

Comedienne Jo Anne Worley, famed Laugh In star and multifaceted actress, has been a supporter of and performer with The California Artist Radio Theatre since 1997.
Amazing audiences with her versatility, she first played a romantic lead in a murder mystery, then played Aunt March in Little Women and then starred opposite Louis Nye in the Blue Beard Pirate.
Recently in Norman Corwin’s comedies, she played Mary, the protagonist in Mary and the Fairy, for Corwin’s 100th birthday, held at The Writer’s Guild Theatre in Beverly Hills. The show was hosted by Carl Reiner and Ray Bradbury with CART. Marvin Kaplan played the Fairy.
On Oct. 9 she will appear at the Beverly Garland Little Theatre, 4222 Vineland in North Hollywood, as Mimi, the oyster eating soubrette, in a scene from The Affairs of Anatol to honor the 25th anniversary of the California Artists Radio Theatre. Other stars appearing in the performance include Shelley Long, Samantha Eggar, Monte Markham, Norman Lloyd, Marvin Kaplan, Ian Abercrombie and Richard Herd. For reservations call (213) 683-3422.
