Written and directed by Shirl Hendryx whose television credits include Columbo and Mission Impossible, Games on a Bombed Out Beach centers around socially conscious, A-list action hero Jim Branson (Richard Chassler) and the production of his next film.

Jim convinces his wife Lisa to join him on location at a battle-scarred Greek island—but Lisa tags along for reasons that are far from regular wifely loyalty. Wanting to stir up some unfinished drama with the film’s apathetic director Paul Deckhard (played by a punchy Jonathan Salisbury), Lisa’s own walls are built higher than the ruins of the battle-scarred temple the beach is best known for. Egotistical and inconsiderate, Lisa’s plans for her husband’s next film are just as destructive as the vicious combat that occurred decades ago.

Produced by Barbara Alexander, Games for a Bombed Out Beach runs at the Macha Theater May 16th through June 22nd on Friday and Saturdays at 8 p.m.,  and Sundays at 3 p.m. To make reservations call (323) 960-4429 or go to www.plays411.com/games. Tickets are $25. The Macha Theater is located at 1107 N. Kings Rd West Hollywood, CA 90069
