More Magic Coming from Gary Peterson Following His Awesome “Supernatural Dark Christmas”
Lots of pretty cool magic was featured with some supernatural fun when Gary Peterson presented his “Supernatural Dark Christmas Show” last month. It was a wonderfully strange show with vampire elves dancing along with the magic creating an edgy holiday celebration.
In addition to grabbing the spotlight as a spellbinding magician, Peterson produced the show. It had one sensational trick after another. And there was a humorous atmosphere in the impressive customized theatre that was decorated with vintage posters of the great magicians from the past. Peterson was in good company.
In addition to acknowledging Peterson’s masterful skills as a grand-scale illusionist, it is important to give credit to the rest of his cast and crew, because the supporting players in this show also help make the magic happen. In the female lead was Julia Kuzina, who embodied the perfect partner for Peterson, who made her effortlessly float in mid-air. The Vampira cohort was played with gusto by Francesca Romana Ligouri. Joining her were sassy vampire dancers Galit Friedlander and Shannon Francheall. Adding to the fun were Brian Grimm as Igor, Andrey Shtern as the Wolf Guy, Fernando Velasco as Fernando, and Brandon Elkington as Bob, plus they all took on Stagehand duties, along with Mark A. Laur. Directing the production was Dave Cox, and the technical team included Pharaoh Cundell for Sound Design and Eric Baum for Lighting Design.
Next up is Gary Peterson’s “Supernatural Grand Illusion Show” playing Feb. 1 and 15, and March 1, 15, and 29.
