Suze Lanier-Bramlett is WILD at Vitello’s

Suze Lanier-Bramlett.

Suze Lanier-Bramlett’s musical show is titled “Born to be Wild’ and she provided a wild ride at Vitello’s restaurant in Studio City on Saturday night. By the way, Vitello’s has a lot of entertainment scheduled, quite a variety — and with tasty and reasonably priced Italian food it makes for a great night out.
Suze sang familiar songs such as “Born to Be Wild” and many of her upbeat original songs while she rode us through her life of growing up in Texas, travels, relationships, entertainment and media career and even “On the Way to Woodstock”. It is a fun ride with a strong and very talented backup team to keep her on course. That includes David Scott Cohen musical director/keyboards, Hank Barrio guitar, and Chad Watson bass, Denise Fraser Drums, Lynn Fanelli back-up vocals and guest Dave Bernal on harmonica. I especially enjoyed Fanelli’s just right back-up vocals that really did the job. Bernal’s brief appearance on the harmonica was a highlight as well.
The performer glides from one song to another with some funny life story comments in between and the crowd ate it up. She spent the last couple of years caring for her ill husband musician Delaney Bramlett who passed away last year. She is now gearing up once again in the music world and appeared at BB Kings in Orlando and is working on a new CD. She will appear in Palm Springs in January at a time still to be finalized and will be back at Vitello’s February 5. So her ride continues—hang on—it is sure to be fun.
