Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo, Best Couple Winner’s of NBC’s Premiere Season of “SuperStars of Dance,” will lead a Tango dance master class and give a performance at a fundraising event entitled “Tango, Tonight!” The event is presented by Media City Ballet of Los Angeles, in association with Woodbury University, at the New Woody’s Café at Woodbury University (7500 Glenoaks Avenue, Burbank, CA 91510) from 6:30–10:30pm on Thursday, May 28, 2009.
Natasha Middleton, Artistic Director of Media City Ballet of Los Angeles, said,  “We are pleased and honored to present the best Tango dancers in the world, Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo, in an exclusive Tango dance master class where people of all ages can learn to dance the Tango in a relaxed environment.” Aside from the master class itself, Miriam Larici and Leonardo Barrionuevo will also perform during the course of the evening, which will begin with a wine and hors d’oeurves reception, followed by the master class, a performance by the dance masters and dancing. Bon Appétit will cater the event with an Argentinean-themed dinner.
