Actress Betty White turned 96 this month and appears to be going strong. She’s been working since 1945, winning Emmys on hit shows like The Mary Tyler Moore Show and The Golden Girls. “I don’t eat anything special,” she told Harpers magazine recently. “French fries. Hot dogs if I can get ‘em. And I’m not a big breakfast eater. I’ll have a sandwich at lunch.” When she gets home, she enjoys a vodka on the rocks, she said, and then dinner, they reported.
While her diet may not be ideal, a daily drink may relate to her longevity, according to newsmax.com. “Studies have found that moderate drinking — White’s daily drink is the recommended amount for women — lowers the risk of heart disease and Alzheimer’s, and reduces the risk of dying,” they said.
White admits that like President Trump, she doesn’t need much sleep. If she gets four hours she says she’s fine. And she’s been that way all her life. Also, it’s known that people who work longer, live longer. White’s still at it at 96!
