Every month, Burbank Senior Artists Colony offers residents an especially designed schedule of entertainment, personal expression and special events.
On Wednesday, May 9 they have Michael Quest returning to perform his special brand of American standards and country favorites. Michael is a favorite at the Colony who has played there many times.
Every Thursday at 3pm, accomplished ESL teacher and resident Susan Charles continues her ESL Conversational English class to brush up your English, or just make conversation and friends.
Jack’s Excursion on Saturday, May 19 is to the Peterson Auto Museum on the Miracle Mile. Colony residents can see beautifully restored classic, antique and famous cars from films. Bring your camera.
Their vegetarian Indian Luncheon is also on May 19, free for residents and their guests. The Aggerwhil family graciously provides delicious Indian home cooking and desert. Residents love trying new dishes and sharing old favorites.
Does your smartphone leave you feeling not-so-smart? The Technology Help Desk is for you. Held on Wednesdays at 1pm, residents get answers and practical assistance in managing their phones, computers and tablets.
Oshea’s popular Poetry class continues on Wednesdays at 10am.
Residents express themselves and socialize at art classes, acting workshops and resident writing groups here. Remember their Wednesday evening Social Hour and Saturday movie nights. Also:
