The 20th Pasadena Bead & Design Show begins on Thursday, July 27 and goes through Sunday, July 30 at the Hilton Pasadena. It is a four day celebration of handcraft and jewelry design – bringing together artistic beads, gemstones, one-of-a-kind jewelry, designer clothing, jewelry-making supplies and vintage items.
Visitors to the show may shop and buy directly from artists and merchants at excellent prices.
More than 3,000 show attendees are expected to participate in the Design Show experience- which combines rare products of meticulous detail, natural materials and sensuous colors, with the ambiance of a handcrafter’s studio, with live demonstrations of handmade skills and techniques.
Do-it-yourself enthusiasts are invited to roll up their sleeves and take part in one or several of the some 150 workshops that are offered at all skill levels – in categories such as jewelry design, metal work, wirework, crystal setting and more.
Artists and merchants are carefully chosen by invitation and juried application, and include both traditional and contemporary artisans, quality dealers and wholesale suppliers, who will showcase a vast list of accessories and unusual items.
The event is open to the public and all are welcome. Hours: 10am-6pm, Thursday, July 27 – Sunday, July 30 at Hilton Pasadena located at 168 S Los Robles Ave. in Pasadena. Advanced admission price is $8 or $10 at the door (good for all four days).
