Celebrating their 40th year in the same Studio City location (12446 Moorpark St.) with the same owners, the Oyster House Saloon and Restaurant serves some of the finest, creative, and consistent seafood around. Appetizers include Fanny Bay Oysters on the half shell (delivered fresh), Fried Calamari, and Oyster Shooters (only 50 cents each 3—6 Mon-Fri!)
The entrees, which are served in very generous portions from our open kitchen, come with pasta and vegetables, and include Monte Carlo Bouillabaisse, Steamed Mussels and Clams, and fresh fish, prepared either sautéed, grilled, or blackened. In addition, there are daily lunch and dinner specials, such as our famous Seafood Stuffed Lobster. There are over a half dozen chicken items, a diverse listing of salads, and many gluten-free options on the menu. We serve an outstanding hamburger (for under $10 you get burger, fries, and beer at lunch Mon-Fri), steaks, and Surf ‘n’ Turf specialties. We have a comfortable heated waiting room outside that is available for parties.
The Oyster House has been named 2013 Best Bar in the San Fernando Valley by LA Weekly. We pour a diverse selection of wine, bottled, and tap beer and have a complete full bar. An added attraction is the evening entertainment (music, comedy, karaoke) to accompany the late kitchen hours (11 p.m. weekends, 10 p.m. weekdays).
